Geboren 1949 in Malters/Schweiz. Beginnt, beeinflusst von Rock, R&B und Jazz, Elektro- und später auch Kontrabass zu spielen. Studiert am Konservatorium Luzern Kontrabass. Fortsetzung seiner Studien in der Konzertklasse von Yoan Goilav. Nach OM (1972 – 1982) spielt er in verschiedenen, auch eigenen Formationen, etwa mit Tim Berne, Hank Roberts und Urs Leimgruber und trit auch solo auf.
Ab 1990 „bass-n-bass“ (Kontrabass plus live Sampling und Tape)
Er schrieb Kompositionen u.a. 18 Übungen, Pocus 1 – 7, 7 Tec Songs.

Born 1949 in Malters/Switzerland. Influenced by Rock, R&B and Jazz he starts to play the electricbass and later the doublebass. Studies the doublebass at the conservatory Lucerne. He continues his studies in the concert class of Yoan Goilav. After OM (1972 – 1982) he plays in different groups including his own project together with Tim Berne, Hank Roberts and Urs Leimgruber.
He performs solo. Since 1990 „bass-n-bass“ (doublebass, live sampling and tape). He is writing several compositions as 18 Exercices, Pocus 1 – 7, 7 Tex songs.
